Refit 2008 - Latest at 1100 hrs Wednesday 12th November - the slipway works are nearing completion, after which the ferry chains will be re-laid across the harbour entrance and the ferry itself will be towed back into position and the chains will be re-attached. We hope to complete this by the end of next week and resume service, however this will depend very much on weather conditions and other factors which could alter the timing.
