Studland lookout

I stopped off at the Lookout by Studland golf club and DCC have seen fit to put up new parking regs and no campling signs.

SIGNS, note, not sign. In fact they've put up SIX, yep, 6.

Grrrrrrrrrr!

  5. I'm not in favour of wild camping, but could we learn something from our continental cousins? Campers usually have very limited storage space for food onboard so they have to shop locally most days. Thousands (I do not exagerate) of towns and villages provide basic overnight stops close to the centre either free or for a pitance in the knowledge that the campers will then shop and eat locally. It seems to work so why not here?

  6. Every US Walmart allows campers to park overnight for free; no doubt the store does well out of what is purchased.
