Hi Nick. It amazes me how the banks can sustain fraud losses amounting to many millions each year. It shows just how much they overcharge for their services.
Being of the older generation, I still like to have my money put in my sticky little hand!
Unfortunately we are forced to use credit cards these days, for the modern age makes it impossible to do anything else.
While every year the fraudsters get even more ingenious in lifting our cash...Surely it has to stop somewhere? Brian Guy
I would direct Brian Guy, and everyone else with a bank account or mortgage, (especially a SHARED APPRECIATION MORTGAGE, 'SAMS') to 'www.safe-online.org'. circa 20,000 compainants registered within 30 months and 140 Members of Parliament in support.
NB Take a look at the videos in 'Gallary' the first was Alfred Cullinane in the late 1980's and the latest is Norman Hayward of Creech Grange this year, i.e. a twenty year span of bank fraud in Dorset.
I heard this happened again last week. Someone tried to use one of the local cash machines, asked in the bank when nothing came out of it and found their account had been emptied. Nasty.
