They are trying out a scheme to have each of the town's clocks show the times at different places round the globe. Deciding on the locations was a problem as they all have to be ones west of here where the time is behind ours. So far we only have Icelandic time. Our leaders could not accept the implication that Swanage is behind the times if they included places where the clocks are ahead of ours.
In a world where many people say, 'oh I'm in a hurry', 'I've got to do this or that', 'I'm sorry, I just don't have time', - yeah I know, I smell - and as most of us probably have the clock on our taskbar; do we need another clock?
If we had more time, we'd shop in our small shops, we'd pick up a bit of litter, we'd volunteer for something.
Should we lose the clock, do you think?!
