Downs path

Whose idea was it to have the path on the Downs resurfaced two days before the kids break up from school?

    Perhaps the idea was to make the path safe before all the kids start using it...

    well the path had it's most use in years when the jazz tent was sited at the top of the Downs last weekend.
    And it won't be finished by Friday anyway. And the contractors are taking up five much needed car parking spaces.
