Excellent news - well done to all involved for returning this valuable facility to the people of Swanage.
Wonderful to see work happening on the building and this home opening again for the elderley in Swanage. Another service we've had to fight for to get returned, well done everyone
Did I see that its now going to retain its name of Days Home ?
Well done to everyone for campaigning hard to keep this facility !!
I heard that the Owners of Agincare name their homes after famous battles. (somewhat strange to name a place where people are supposed to be cared for, after places where many people died, but there you go). James Day was set to be renamed Gainsborough (1643)
wasn`t Agincare where we beat the French ?
Apparently the company was indeed orginally called Agincourt.
