Purbeck Diversity: Purbeck Art Weeks at Durlston Castle
This year’s Purbeck Art Weeks boasts a major new venue at Durlston Castle, which will be hosting an exhibition of work by some of Purbeck’s leading artists and makers.
The exhibition features work, specially selected by PAW, to showcase the extraordinary creative talent in Purbeck, including paintings, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics and photography.
Said Karen Delahays from PAW “It’s been a treat to put together an exhibition in this wonderful setting. Durlston has provided an inspiring setting to which many of the exhibiting artists and makers have responded in their work”
Said Ranger Ali Tuckey, “We are delighted to be hosting this flagship exhibition. With so much of the work drawing on the inspirational landscape around us, this show has a special meaning for me”
‘Purbeck Diversity’ runs from Saturday 25th May – Sunday 9th June and is open every day between 11.00am and 4.00pm. Entry to the Country Park, exhibition and Castle is free and all work is for sale.
