Censorship?
What are your views on what, if anything, should be censored on swanageview? In the interest of ultimate democracy it would be good not to censor at all. But there are obviously things that might upset/disturb some viewers and of course there's no control over who can view the site, so perhaps there is a need for some control. I'm inclined against obscenity, and against non-local advertising of dubious content and origin. What do you think? And do say if you ever see anything here that you think shouldn't be.

The internet from the outset was never going to be controlled by anyone. It is totally anarchic (Spelling?) And should remain that way, With one exception; if I could get hold of those that send me huge amounts of spam? i'd ring his neck!
I think that a local Blog, such as this should allow pretty near everything, bar pornography and other unpleasant features of the internet.
By barring complaints for reaons of good taste, you prevent what should be brought out into the air of public knowledge and scrutiny, and should not be prevented from doing so.
Though the moderator has the final word anyway.

Someone (or thing) has just posted another eccentric advertising oddity (under Community Pan). These look like some kind of randomly generated commercial activity, unlikely to be of interest to viewers, so I think it's fair to delete these in future. If you disagree, say so!
If I can...seems impossibe to delete at the moment
