Why are the toilets on the Parade next to the Heritage centre shut? This is a very busy weekend. Its disgusting that the local authority charge to use the loo at all, but not maintaining the service for whatever the reason is beyond belief.

I enquired about these a few days ago and was assured that the repair work (broken drains) was done and they should be open from Friday 2nd June. I'll make further enquiries.

I have to agree charging for the toilets is a bad idea given most seaside resorts have numerous, free, clean, functioning loos.
At 8.30pm on Monday 5/6/2006 I was unable to find a loo in Swanage that was open. It was a fine evening and there were many people about some, like me, with a strange cross leg gait looking rather uncomfortabe.
Is the Council trying to discourage visitors to the town centre in the evening?

dont worry anita chenell will sort it out, well according to her endless elction papers i keep getting she has sorted most things out in town and she has not even been elected yet WOW what have we to look forward to?
