We are moving to Swanage in September so that will be another 2 places taken up. It is such a shame if they merge schools - one of the reason why we are leaving London is because of overcrowded huge schools

In many ways it would be a shame, but Dorset is appallingly funded.
The loss of a Primary and a Middle school could be a shame.
Mind you Mount Scar recently interviewed for a new head teacher.
No-one of suitable pedigree applied.
This is an offsted level one school.
Maybe something to do with house prices around here?
And the middle school, which is not a good school, can't find a new head either.
It's already happened in north dorset, so why not here?
PS
Our LEA has enough money to re-develop poole and bournemouth college - £120 million and brockenhurst college - much cheaper.
PPS
glad someone can afford a house around here!
