Offshore wind farm

Eneco, the developers for the West of Isle of Wight Wind Farm have published a slideshow of the information they had available at the public exhibitions about the West of Isle of Wight Wind Farm held during the first two weeks of November in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The slideshow can be viewed at: http://www.enecowindoffshore.co.uk/news-detail.aspx?newsID=263

The location of the wind farm looks to be well away, but it blocks the route of the Channel Ferries. It will obviously cull the migrating birds, and the sonic noise from the driving of the piles to set up the windmills will drive away all marine life. Which the noise of the turbines and their blades will keep the fish away.

Hello
I am a third year Geography student, I am currently undergoing my dissertation on this topic. I am very interested to know the opinions of Dorset residents on the proposed wind farm. As a local resident I do not believe enough has been done to notify local residents, and ultimatley we are the people who will live with it. I have a very short questionnaire if anyone would like to give an opinion, the link is http://www.kwiksurveys.com?s=HMNIKF_7a185e70
all replies would be very much appreciated!
Thank you
