Stand up and be counted?

There are too many anonymous comments on this blog. How about making everybody register so they can't hide?

I tried that..Just to be honest...But then you get abuse from anon.
It would be a good thing for folks to sign in..After all, what are you frightened of?

some people dont want to be known their little secret perhaps people work in the services or sensitive industries, also i once wrote a letter to a local paper (not around here) and was verbally abused when someone saw me once bitten twice shy as they say.

I think people say what they think more readily if they can remain anonymous. We vote that way after all to stop intimidation. In a small community you need to be highly circumspect when you are identifiable but you can say what you really think here. Unfortunately a minority are unable to sustain reasoned argument and resort to insults. I have lost count of the number of times I have been called an idiot and worse by folk who could not find a logical rebuttal to what I have said.

we all ahve different views and some may be idiotic but they are views after all if thats all yoy have been called your lucky kind sir :) i've be called worse tehe
