New shop: the eclectic abode
The Eclectic Abode has opened in Commercial Road, selling a select range of Scandinavian ceramics, furniture, art, wooden toys and other attractive items for the home.

fantastic shop, an array of different but beautiful gifts and furniture, run by a young couple eager to please and oh so very helpful.
So refreshing to meet shop owners who are so enthusiastic and friendly. They know their stock inside and out and will source items too. Great little place to browse again and again!
I love it, so different. Happy friendly people. A complete change to the usual.
I bought some lovely inexpensive lamps here and I was tempted by many other items!
Really interesting selection and well worth a visit
Beautiful shop run by a lovely swedish lady stocking unusual, high quality furniture and ornaments displayed in a a very homely, uncluttered way. We bought some beautiful hand turned wooden candlesticks at a very reasonable price. Make sure you hunt the shop out and support it. It was just a shame that the other shops in the street were closed-Swanage traders could have made so much more out of the many visitors staying overnight in town for the New Year celebrations with better advertising and opening hours.
