I'd presume that most 'news worthy' stories are actually from the police and have some connection to crime?!! Don't think local knitting groups are particually newsworthy - surely news is news, generally generated by the police in the first instance? not that I know how it works, but that's how I see it. I'm like their website - better than anything else we have and where else can we get all this local news (where ever generated)from?
I cannot see the problem if the police use it to keep us up to date with the goings on in town.
However, every group in town should consider appointing a member to liaise with the Gazette, so that it truly reflect what is going on in our little corner of the world.
