No. It should focus its resources on linking to the main line.

The Swanage Railway is concentrating on running a through service to Wareham. After this has been achieved it has been suggested that it builds a small halt near the Blue Pool. This would give rail access to the attraction and to the nearby Halfway Inn. It would save car drivers making the difficult right turn at Gallows Hill on the A351. There was a fatal accident there when a car turned right into the path of a bus. The halt would provide visitors to the Railway with an additional attraction. Traditionally the owners of the Blue Pool have opposed the halt because they do not own the Blue Pool car park and they fear that people will park there for the Railway and not for the Blue Pool. There are also fears that if there was a halt the Blue Pool would get overrun with tourists. The Railway would also find it difficult to fit the Blue Pool in with its timetable.
It is up to the Railway Trust, who will have to fund and maintain it.
I cannot see any reason why it would want to do this, if the main goal is to reconnect with the main line at Worgret. If the owners of Blue Pool are not keen, then what is the reason for doing this? I don't understand the point behind the question.
If the owners are not keen on the idea then why bother? More money to spend on other things to do with the line. Their loss at end of the day.
38 years ago the Swanage Railway Project wanted to build a halt at the Blue Pool but the owner of the Blue Pool was very much against it. There is now some interest in the Railway in building a halt and the new owners of the Blue Pool are more amenable. A small wooden platform would not cost much to build after the Railway has started the service to Wareham. The paths are bridleways so cyclists can use them to connect with minor roads leading to Lulworth and Stoborough. There is also a pleasant walk back to Corfe Castle. The owners of the Blue Pool may find a rail connection works to their advantage. The National Trust originally opposed the reopening of Corfe Castle Station but now they advertise the Railway and a few years ago issued joint tickets for the Railway and the castle.
