Should people be subjected to ridicule because of the hobby they choose? How should they react? Should they stop being railway enthusiasts, should they ignore the comments, or should they make jokes about themselves?

A: Three. One to change it, one to write its serial number down, and one to bring the anoraks and the flask of soup.
Such 'jokes' are nothing other than adult bullying. They are no better than what 9 year olds say in the playground. They reflect on the pathetic nature of the individual saying them, and not the target. They are truly pathetic - they are not even original.
I assume 2.22 is being ironic. The alternative would be very sad.
Everyone can have a joke about whatever they want too as far as I am concern , though I must say the railway does bring alot of money into the town and that's a good thing.
So council house jokes are ok, Dave?
Give it ya best shot , personally love a good Jew joke myself. God , I make my mum swell with pride:) though never heard any trainspotting jokes !
