Plans have been submitted 6/2004/0905 to erect a 2 storey, 2 bedroom dwelling house with integral garage. The existing garden store to be demolished and large magnolia tree to be removed. The Town council recommendations are for refusal - considers over development of the site and should have been non-delegated.
Following the planning meeting at Wareham council on 25/11/04 (26 letters of objection) a site meeting has been arranged for 9/12/04 time tba with a decision to be made at the board meeting 16/12/04.
Please contact John Butler or Mike Grimes at Wareham council with your letters of objection and also to request that they erect poles on site so we can see the large scale of the building.
Our objections are:-
1/ The building is inappropriately positioned and will overwhelm, dominated and intrude on the local scene creating loss of privacy for a no of homeowners.
2/The proposed hse has no front gdn, and will have to reverse onto a busy road.
3/The proposed hse is positioned directly next to a retaining wall which has already suffered some collaspe.

Please support.

Purbeck District Council have informed me today 1/12/2004 that the meeting at the Millpond, Church Hill, Swanage will commence 9.35am Thursday 9/12/2004.
Please attend to voice your support for a rejection of the proposed 2 storey house which will dominate the Millpond scene and detract from the character of the Conservation Area.
