Caravan Park

What's this about the town council caravan park? There was something in the paper in weymouth that the council had been told it shouldnt be selling caravams amd taking commisions on the deals and that the council might have not only to hand over the running of the bar and catering for someone else to run, which its done, but to do the same with the whole caravan park. what's going on? have I missed this being written up locally?

I'm always amazed it was not sold off years ago when Mrs T was flogging off the family silver nationally. Maybe the local tories realised how harmful the privatisation policy was and hoped it would go away if they kept their heads down.

Whats really weird is the way its run in deepest commercial secrecy with the electors, who after all own the thing, never given any real information.

Perhaps the hammers of the left who post on other topics would care to demand the sale of STC's assets, or are they in favour of public ownership when its local?
