Mowlem
A word of warning. Ignore information given on the Mowlem website. We wanted to see a film: tried to phone to check — no one answered. Looked at the website: which said it was on. Turned up -- and no, it wasn't. Result. Day messed up for two entire families. Do they provide an email address for contact? (No).Do they care? (I doubt it.)

Must (sort of) half apologise. The information was correct, just very badly laid out, so difficult to read easily -- which was why it was mis-read
We went to the Landcrab Festival at the Mowlem last night. Absolutely brilliant. The place was packed with students from Bournemouth and Poole. One might imagine the Mowlem management would have taken the opportunity to ask some of them what sort of film program would bring them over here again. Not a sign of this happening of course. This is the differnce between an arts centre which has someone responsible for audience development and a structure which limits itself to running the building and providing technical support.
