Of course, it makes sense to put up warning signs, but surely it's over-reaction to close the beaches? There have always been landslips here, and always will be. Closing the beach (indefinitely?) seems excessive. And is it entirely legal to close these private beaches, over which the public have established rights of access? Perhaps an idea might be to have warning signs that show some before/after photos, so people may understand better what can happen.
