swanageview: Padstow Lifeboat

If we get a new lifeboat station in Swanage I hope it looks as good as the one shortly to open in Padstow.

Anonymous said...: Padstow lifeboat station is situated at the bottom of a cliff, isolated from other buildings. It does not form part of the town or villagescape. Although it looks large on this photo it is quite small compared with the natural features surrounding it.

Is there any intention to replace the Swanage one? It was enlarged to take the new boat a few years ago.; 20/9/06 6:30 pm
