Congratulations to swanage town council, nearly 5 years after pulling down the changing rooms at king georges playing fields and doing nothing about replacing them they produce a" PROGRESS REPORT" como,n council do you really think the people of this town are that "stupid" why can,t you be honest and say you cannot be bothered, or do your usual trick of getting someone else to do it for you and then take the credit like the skate park episode You ought to be ASHAMED of yourselves.

Did you bother to go to any of the public forum meetings about this? They were well advertised and well attended, shame you weren't there really

mcaiwcMy dear sir, I feel I must appologise to you I was under the miguided illusion that the council had done nothing on this matter for the last 5 years but you know better.I would like to ask you 3 questions if I may be so bold
1,When was it built.
2,Where was it built.
3,why did the council keep it quiet.

I hope you remember that this year finishes on december 31 st. so I make it 341 days to go till the end of the year and you expect me to believe that it may be built before the years end,I would keep a check on the size of my nose if I were you

Jeez man, why are you so angry and patronizing?
You asked a question, I answered! I'm well aware of the length of a year thank you.

I am sorry if you feel I am angry and patronising anything but, but even you must agree that a five year wait to do nothing is quite a long time, agreed. I honestly think we need a complete shift of the council. The Tories do not have to do a lot in this town to sadly be re-elected so maybe its time for a change

but the point is why has nothing been built there yet, i remember it being knocked down when i played youth football there, 5 years ago now, while there is no argument that it needed replacing/refurbishment, why has it taken so long. i would have thought it would have been very high on the councils agenda. i know people who dropped out of playing football because of the poor facilities their, and having to change outside or in cars. if we had better changing facilities for the junior teams in swanage, then surely this may also partly tackle the problem of problem youths...there does seem very little structured activites for young people in swanage, but thats another matter altogether

jjyobeiGOOD POINT, CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A TOWN IN ENGLAND OF COMPARABLE SIZE TO SWANAGE THAT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE THE BASIC FACILITIES,WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS COUNCIL IT WOULD SEEM THAT ALL THE COUNCIL IS CONCERNED ABOUT IS THE VISITOR, WHICH IN PART IS FINE BUT NOT TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF THE TOWN WAKE UP COUNCIL NOW.

Things would happen a great deal faster if the people who carp and complain got off their bottoms and made a few enquiries and offered their help with the things they feel deeply about. They could even run for council membership. You don't have to be a party political dogmatic with any of the parties - just wanting to do something for the town is enough. I get sick of hearing from all these people who think "they" should be doing everything for "us". If you can't be bothered to pitch in you deserve what you get.
