Beware of self-fulfilling prophecies!

People who live in glass houses.....lol!

You wouldn't be allowed to build a glass house here. Not in keeping with the hideous blocks of flats

Apologies. Back to the very positive topic

Yes. Seriously, the Blues Festival is great! And not an Avatar in site!

you haven't seen what's playing at the Mowlem then?

Going to watch Avatar (with the most advanced visual effects ever found in a movie) at the Mowlem is about as rewarding as taking part in the America's Cup in an Optimist. You can do both, but what's the point?

Well our 14 year old and her friends are obviously easily pleased because they went to the Mowlem and came away very content with what they had seen.

Obviously a case of the heart doesn't grieve what the head hasn't missed.

For us the Blues Festival was as good as ever - thanks Steve - and we heard some cracking music particularly from the R&B Brothers and the Pete Harris Band with Hugh Budden.

Roll on the next one!
