Your community group need cash?

Don’t miss out on cash

GRANTS of up to £1,000 are still available for community groups.
The cash, on offer through the Purbeck Community Partnership, is up for grabs until the February 12 deadline.
Brian Bleese, partnership chairman, said: “These grants are a great way to help get local community initiatives off the ground.”
Groups offering social and physical activities locally should apply through purbeck.gov.uk or call Sue Bellamy on 01929 557303.

Could PDC or Brian Bleese please give examples of what sort of community projects could be supported. Sometimes the criterior is so prescriptive that its almost impossible to access funding.

£10,000 GRANTS UP FOR GRABS TO DORSET VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY GROUPS


£10,000 in grants is up for grabs to local voluntary and community groups across Dorset.

The cash is coming from the Dorset Local Involvement Network or LINK, and will be available in grants of a £100 to £500.

Groups that receive the funding will need to find out how local people feel about the health and social care services they receive.
