Why Wales, and not here?
Beautiful? Well, let's agree on 'not unpleasant'.
Lynne Green on the Hart Gallery website states" "The layering of paint and of his own activity glimpsed beneath the final surface, become metaphors for the passage of time, the effects of the elements, and successive levels of meaning." Now that's a load of tosh if ever I read one!
Wales is quite near enough, to my mind.
