Culture?

What is so special about Langton Matravers?Tonight Saturday 19th both at 7.30 pm they have Mozart Requiem in C and the Clarinet Concerto in the Church, and over the road in the Church Hall is the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's contemporary music group doing Philip Glass, Michael Nyman etcGood for Langton but what about some culture in Swanage?

I lived in Langton for some years and the trick is that when someone wants something to happen they say "Let's organise a dance/concert/festival."

Whereas in Swanage we tend to say "Someone ought to organise something." or even "THEY should organise something."

Langton has also been particularly lucky in having some very active Rectors and wardens who have made the church available for village events and have promoted music and drama for the benefit of all.
