Is anyone interested in setting up a freecycle group? Details are at www.freecycle.org but basically its a set of online noticeboards with offers and wanted listings for things you would rather give away than throw away. The nearest group is in Poole but there is no reason for not having one in Swanage as well. The overall aim is to reduce the amount which goes to landfill which sounds like a good idea.

Brilliant idea, Keith.
I've got some furniture in my shed all in need of repair or restoration. Couple of bits of Lloydloom, four dining room chairs, a big leather club armchair.

Hmmm.. Looks a bit complicated to me. Couldn't we just have a message board with a bit of moderation?
Still got those chairs.
