Co-op stocking?

How can it be that in this age of computers and "just in time delivery" the Swanage Co-op is incapable of having the normal ranges of sliced bread and vegetables on the shelves throughout opening hours. Other supermarkets in other towns manage it.

Absolutely, a bit of computer modelling with variable input regarding public holidays and weather forecasts would do wonders. I went in last Aug Bank Hol Mon to find the shelves literally bare! Actually, I rather wish we had got a Waitrose instead...

Forget that! Have you been in Somerfields yet? Its got food and everything! It's light and roomy and full of things to buy. There were all the old faces and a few new as well so a bit of employment for the town. Just shows what a bit of corporate investment can do, and has improved swanage food shopping 100%. I may not need to take a trip to the mainland now to shop.
