Bench-restus

‘BENCH-RESTUS’Although extinct for some time along the Jurassic Coast of Purbeck ‘Bench-restus’ are still well established on the other side of Poole harbour, right through and on into Bournemouth. In fact a new group of over 25 have been observed in Ashley Road Upper Parkstone, (one would think a hostile area due to the public houses along there). However it seems the reason for the survival of the Bench-restus’ is because they are overseen by extensive CCTV which must immunizes them against the disease known as ‘antisocial behavior’. No doubt the Isle of Purbeck will be able to exploit the findings of fossilized bench-restus’ when the first are found at the foot of the Jurassic Coast ?Robert Owen ~ Perveril.
