Jubilee Street clean up

Should the community clean the toilets and the streets and remove the graffitti from street signs in the weekend before the Jubilee holiday?

Are there any Jubilee parties anywhere? If so what is the format?

If there's graffiti, please report to the Town Council.

I made a proposal to the Town Council over a year ago that we could create an Olympic legacy for Swanage by using this opportunity to get the town smartened up; get wheelie bins out of alleyways, tudy everything up. Can you guess what happened? zzzzzzzzzzz

Olympic Legacy by having clean streets? Mr Hadley the Olympics is about running and jumping not scrubbing and mopping.

I will only do this if we don't have too pay our council tax for that month. Otherwise not a chance sorry plus it's only for one day this jubilee milarky.

You need a risk assessment and a full health and safety analysis before you are allowed to do any of this.

Only the greatest Street Party ever in the Lower High Street, where there is a 600 seated tea party along with entertainment for everyone that goes on til late in the evening. There will be a beacon about 10.30 and the BBC will be there all day.
